Board Rules
#1
Parents: It is your job to police your children's internet activities, not ours. This forum may contain language and content that you may not like your kids seeing. If they join and participate against your wishes it is YOUR problem not ours. Please parent responsibly, we are not your babysitters!

If you are a stinking spammer don't bother to register. I will spot you in a second and you will be deleted. You will NOT be able to send any PM's or email from the board. Your access is limited until you post. Don't waste either of our time with your spammy nonsense. Grow up, get a real job.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Rules of the site:

Failure to comply with our rules will result in either a temporary suspension of your posting privileges or permanent banning depending on how obnoxious and rule breaking you become.

These rules can change at our whim. That means you better check often or you'll regret it one way or another. Rule updates will be noted at the top (in the header bars) as to the date of edit every time.

You must post an intro topic to gain access to the board. You cannot post, download or make a new topic anywhere except the Introductions forum until you make your intro. NO EXCEPTIONS! It is unfair for everyone if they had to post and intro and some get away without doing so.

1) NO TROLLING. You cannot come here to be a forum troll and post antagonizing things just to get arguments started. This will get you banned forever.

DO NOT enter a topic to purposefully and specifically goad, antagonize, insult, berate, insult someone you dislike on the site.
You may not like what people say to you in return! You will also risk being banned from the site for being here just to antagonize and instigate. This is trolling.

DO NOT purposely antagonize other members into ANY kind of verbal altercation if you are not prepared to get what you give in return. This is trolling.
This goes for ANY conversation you begin. If you are going to call someone stupid, be prepared for the back-lash.
Admins have the exclusive right to lock unruly topics, ban, restrict, or other punishment deemed appropriate as they see fit.

2) NO SPAMMING. Do not come here to post spam, pm other members with spam or simply join to push your own site or agenda. SPAM is at the ADMINS DISCRETION and I deem what is spam. Anyone considered a spammer will be banned, their IP blocked and account deleted. I've already blocked a whole country so don't think I say this without intent.

3) Cussing and foul language is permitted but don't do it 'unnaturally'. If it's done as part of your normal language fine. But if you come here and think it's just a free for all to cuss it up nonsensically, we'll slap you for it. We believe in free speech as long as it's NORMAL free speech.

4) No Text Speak - Please don't be lazy and use constant 'text speak' on the board. Posts should be clear and easy to understand. Excessive use of text speak so that posts look like they're written by some illiterate will get you warned and continuous warnings will lead to greater restrictions.
Internet 'slang' is allowed to a REASONABLE degree, but once it starts to look like gibberish, again you will be warned.
The reason for this rule is because people from other languages may have a hard time with such things as well as older people joining the site who are not aware. Yes the internet is for all ages.

5) NO RACISM!!! We will not tolerate any kind of racism. This will get you banned faster than you can blink and without warning. If you are a racist and get banned, we just might be poking fun at you openly too. There's enough bullshit in the world without the likes of racists.

6) Signatures need to be TASTEFULLY sized. If you cannot keep sigs to a small tasteful accompaniment to your posts, then you will be the cause of eliminating them for everyone. Do NOT use your sig to spam. Admins determine what is and isn't spam. You get ONE CHANCE to comply with sig warnings. After that, the gloves are off.

Any image(s) within a member's signature file should not exceed 100px in height and no more than 400px in width.

Please, the forums are for discussions and not a public free advertisement area or giant billboard. It's obnoxious. I have plenty of room for you to post your sites in your bios and control panels.
Signatures should not take over the post, but simply add a personal touch. I don't ask anything I don't adhere to myself. [b]This is a STRICT rule. This goes for our Staff too. It is set in stone. Don't argue with me.

7) Members sharing any personal information with any other member using the private messaging system do so at their own risk.

8) The private message system is not intended as your private bashing area. This should not be used as your secret hate section to another member. Do not post anything that is rude, abusive, threatening, hateful, racist, homophobic, sexist, ageist, pornographic, obscene, vulgar, sexually orientated, defamatory, libelous, insulting, name-calling, offensive, false, misleading, promoting illegal activity or inflammatory. Be polite to other site members at all times, be respectful of other member's opinions. NO HATE! Any hate should be reported to any moderator/staff member by private message or using the report button located in each topic.

9) Any member receiving a private message in violation of the rules should forward the message and give the user-name of the person who sent the message to Admin or any other Forum Moderator by private message who will deal with as deemed appropriate.

10) NO SHARING ACCOUNTS. Anyone caught sharing an account for any reason will be banned without warning. I can't believe I had to even make this a rule but events of late forced me to do this.

Controversial subject matter:
Occasionally there will be issues discussed that can and will get very heated during discussion. This site encourages debate, friendly arguments and sometimes even the radical discussion, but there is one rule regarding this:

If you have the guts to say something controversial or 'hot' you better have the guts to finish the conversation and take the heat! We don't want anyone starting something hot and then punking out and not answering what you started. We don't want anyone whining when you don't like your topic and it's message not going your way.

Please understand that hot conversation,  and rough talk that might be aimed at you is not cause to go whining to the admins or mods - cowboy up and fight back! Just because things get heated does NOT mean you are disliked or not wanted here or that the people talking to you like that suddenly hate you. Rough conversations can be had and everyone remain friends in the end. If you can't deal with that, don't get into such conversations, stick with the kissy-feely stuff. It's OK, no one will bother you for it. Everyone is different.

DO NOT start a controversial topic for grins and giggles to get a reaction out of people! You may not like what people say to you in return! You will also risk being banned from the site for being here just to antagonize and instigate. This is trolling.

DO NOT enter a topic to purposefully and specifically goad, antagonize, insult, berate, insult someone you dislike on the site.

Choose your fights cautiously and don't be 'thin skinned'! It's all good here.

If you find someone you just can't stand, you can always put them on your ignore list in your control panel.
